First determine whether you are using a Single User License or a Floating Network License: 

Floating network licenses are typically used by larger companies that share the software with multiple users.  

If you are not sure which you have, you can:

  • See the license type on your existing software by Clicking on "Security" on the top menu bar and then Clicking on "License" and see the License Type (See screens below)
  • Log into the Customer Portal to determine for sure
  • Email Meca (support@mecaenterprises.com).  


Old Computer:


Note: If you are currently using a Floating Network License you can skip this section and Go to the "New Computer" section below.


If you no longer have access to the old computer please contact support@mecaenterprises.com


1.  Start the Meca Software Application on the Old Computer.


2.  Click on "Help" on the top menu bar and then Click on "License".  

  • Write down the license ID Number
  • Password is hidden for security reasons, refer to original order information for password.  Or go to our customer portal and click on "Forgot your Password" ).  Click to go to Customer Portal.

3. Select "Deactivate License" on Existing License Screen.


4. Single User Licenses will receive a Verification Window 

*Note you are only able to deactivate 6 times per year on Single User Licenses.


5. Click "OK" to continue.


6. You will receive a conformation window if the license was successfully Deactivated.


7. Close the application on the old computer.




New Computer:


Click here and Follow the "Activate License" instructions to Configure the New Computer.
