We have a feature on our server that allows us to set a flag to notify our users when an update is available.  When this flag is set, when the user launches the software it notifies them that a newer version is available.  Also, if they are within the software, they can go to "Help" "Check for Updates" and they will also be notified if a new version is available.

At times the user may go to "Help" "Check for Updates" and it indicates they are current, and then they find out that there is a more current version available on the website.  The reason for this is that we do not always set the flag to notify customers.  When we are updating the software frequently, it can be annoying to customers to have the update notify them every time they launch the software.  If we have done a "Hot Fix" for a client to address a specific issue, then we don't always have time to fully test it to make sure it is not causing some other unintended consequence.  In these instances, we try not to set the flag to notify everyone that a new version is available until we have had time to do a more thorough checking to make sure its working as intended.

The latest version of our software can be found on our website, by clicking this link --> Software Downloads.   Once on the Software Downloads page, select the Application you are downloading (MecaStack, MecaWind or MecaLug) and then click on the Latest Build.
