The Meca software creates a log file to help us diagnose security related problems.  There are three ways to send us this file, but please note that if the software won't run then you will have to follow option 3 since Option 1 and 2 are from within the software.  


Option 1: 

1) Within the Meca Software, go to the "Help" option

2) Select "Report a Bug"

3)  Click "Send Email" 


Depending upon your security and email setup, Option 1 may not work.  If it doesn't work, then follow Option 2:


Option 2:

1) Within Meca Software, go to the "Help" option

2) Select "Report a Bug"

3)  Click "MecaLog.txt" at the bottom.  This should open the file in your default text file editor (Usually Notepad).  Either save the file and email it to us, or copy and paste the contents of this file into an email.  


Option 3:

1) Open Windows Explorer and Select the View tab, then make sure "Hidden Items" is checked.  



2) Now go to your hard drive (Typically C) and select the following folder:


C:\Users\{User Name}\AppData\Roaming


{User Name} is the user name registered on the computer


3) Now depending upon which program you are using, you go to that folder (MecaWind, MecaLug or MecaStack).  For this example I'm using MecaWind, going into that folder you find MecaLog.txt file.  Email that file to Meca.
